It is quite apparent that a lot of thought went into this story. Your use of descriptions are excellent and make it very easy for the reader to visualize the settings.

WORD often makes a nuisance of itself when It feels something should be in a higher case. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words.

I do like this, I love detective fiction and I like the idea of the ancestor. The only reason I haven't given this a six star rating is because it's a bit too close to ITV's Whitechapel. Copycat killings, a creepy advisor on the subject (albeit a dead one in your case). Not saying this is deliberate by the way, but it does look heavily influenced

Oh no! Really? I was aware of Whitechapel being on, but I never watched it. Ah well, I guess that happens sometimes. Thanks for the otherwise great review, and for pointing that out to me.

It does happen, it is some kind of morphic resonance I think. I think things seep into our subconcious without us realising. Otherwise brilliant

I did enjoy the read...though the generous 'cents' is a nice bonus. and it was very well done and creatively conceived of. Thank you for sharing. It was a pleasure.

Your plot is heavy with facts and your scenario of the bench is brilliant. I cannot tell you enough how good this is. You were right to wait for posting as now it is perfect.

I give you my 6 and a very loud cheer and a standing ovation for this absolutely top drawer work. It is worthy of far more than a 6 in my very humble opinion. I feel very honored to have read this today. I have read it twice and I am quite sure I will read it again.

Thank you very much, for your time you spent on this and for sharing it...Dinah

Thank you so much, Barbara :-). I kept tying myself in knots trying to figure out how the plot would work for this, so I was relieved when I cam up with a plot that works (I think!). I also had trouble keeping it this short (5,000 words), since this could easily extend into a novel, I reckon. Maybe when November comes, I'll do that for the NaNoWriMo!

Thanks again, and for the timely punctuation catch, too :-).
