I love the painted sky when twilight is settling in. It has some of the most beautiful colors I have ever seen; blues, pinks, purples.

Absolutely beautiful.
The first word had me hooked.......gossamer is one of those delicious words that will never lose it's glory.

Thank you so much for your kind review. The photo was taken looking out my back door towards Waikiki Beach, which is about 2 miles distant. We see amazing colors in the sky quite often, but this particular sunset seemed as if someone had used pastels or watercolor to paint the sky. Have a beautiful weekend. ~Tricia

Thank you so much for your kind review. I arrived in Hawaii as a teenager, right out of high school. I have lived on Kauai (the northern-most Island), The Big Island (known as Hawaii) and Oahu (the main island, known as the meeting place). There is a TON of Japanese culture here (I married a 100% Japanese man) so I have come to appreciate Japanese poetry and art. I was born in Minnesota, so I have a lot of connections there.
