Wow. Well done. I was waiting to see when they would notice the blood and injuries on Kip... it seems to have taken a while, though it works for the plot...

A couple of things: Kip's low-pitched howls

choosing to leaver her cell, ...

Kip continued to talk at him...

in the guy's coffin

ready to be driven home?

or he was ready to drive home another nail in this guy's coffin

Thanks!

Cathy has disappeared. Rudy and the dogs are upset. It's too bad the dogs can't talk, but Rudy did see the injury on Kip. They also suspect Nathan. I hope they catch him before he disappears at sea.

Didn't the condo manager think it odd that Nathan Stanley's original address was so close by? - or, no, she only had his license plate.

It nags at the reader that the passage between the two units, which Norman worked so hard to construct, isn't being admired. ;-)

Kim continued to talk at him; the range and tenor of her sounds

Typo, Kip

"A man called Nathan Stanley. He leased it several weeks back. He's a paparazzi,

You used "[he's] paparazzi" in an earlier post, but the singular is paparazzo; the condo manager might be expected to know that.

"Hold the elevator until I get the door open. I don't want any surprises." Jim bent over with his packet of locks
Not "lock picks?

    Hey Joel,

Well, Norman explained that away when he first met Desiree. He'd been hired to do some photo shoot of the ocean. That's how he explained he only wanted a penthouse unit, for the view.

LOL, yes, lock PICKS! Duh! I'll also change paparazzo! Thanks for the eagle eyes.

    Hugs,

Great job with this chapter..

This story is really starting to get intense now.. The pace seemed to be in high gear..

I kept hoping they would catch up with him but they were a step behind... Poor Rudy.. cant wait fo the next chapter.......

It just gets better and better. So Nathan did present himself to Desiree as Nathan and not as Norman. Not a smart move. Undoubtedly they will find something in his condo that will indicate the charter. He wouldn't have any reason to try and cover up things there. Very well done.

    Hey Frank,

Well, he had no choice. Had to present his ID, including a working checking account, lol. Now, he also had to give his other address so he knows it's just a matter of time before they get to his alternative address, but he has no idea how fast his plans are crumbling. It's gonna be a squeaker, for sure!

Thanks for the great comments and your review,

    Hugs,

Good for Rudy. I like his (and his companions') trusting the dogs and getting them involved--animals are so much smarter than we are!

This continues to be a fun read.

    Hi Redux,

You might have missed early chapters, but the guys are Private Investigators. They train the dogs for their work as well as a variety of security jobs including military work. If you get a chance, go back and read the early chapters. The bucks are gone, so you don't need to leave a review, but it'll bring you up to speed on who everyone is.

    Thanks so much!
