Hi Gypsy, your poem is so true. Children love their teddy bears and stuffed animals. They also make them feel safe in the middle of the night.
You are lucky that your Good Will will accept them. In our area, they will not take stuffed animals because of allergies, and they are off limits for Christmas donations as well???

Nice idea!

My daughter and her children had/have Teddy Bears that they cuddled and also slept with them. Those good memories are reinforced by your poem.

Fortunately, they never did contribute them to Goodwill.

A lot said in a few words. You allow readers to I feel the emotions in this write. I can relate because my daughter in law can be quite ruthless in decluttering and doesn't always relate to the desire of her children to hold on to their precious childhood toys.
At least nowadays one can take photos that will spark memories.
I like the double meaning of Goodwill. It implies more than the charity. Another child will receive and love the teddy.
