That is really good. The problem is I am reading all the entries for the free verse competition and they are all so good except one. I am afraid, I am going to have to vote for that one. Otherwise, I might not get a vote at all. Good luck in the competition.

Everyone is so good in this one. I look forward to more free verse. It seems to be an untapped competition vein.

I love reading free verse - I believe the emotion behind the words more than I do with rhymed poems. Free verse just feels more authentic and honest...
Saying that, I do enjoy rhyme and meter too, hah!

You know what's funny though, as much as I enjoy the site, there's been 11 votes so far in the booth and I've only had 7 views on my poem!
Meaning that the voters aren't reading all of the entries... I remember now why I don't usually enter these writing prompts!

When I say 'views', I mean how many people have actually clicked on the poem to even look at it. So I can see that 7 people have clicked on my poem and 2 have reviewed it.
If you go onto your profile and then click on 'my' and 'portfolio' from the drop down, it shows you how many people have viewed each of your poems and also how many people have left reviews.
Apologies if I'm telling you something you already know, I just noticed that you're a new member and some of the site takes a little navigation.
I think it's wrong that people vote without first reading all the entries...
Like you said though, all the entries are good in this contest :)

I agree with you. It makes it look like people are voting for their friends which is not fair.
