Would not be a good situation if their covers were blown and Chen knew who they were.

Kicking the door demonstrated Sami's irritation with being a prisoner in the safe house.

Why shouldn't Sami keep "coming up with more and more questions"?

"there'll be trail to the computer" should be there'll be a trail to the computer.

Thank you for the catch. I don't think Noah's the type of person who likes questions. LOL

Some good interactions between Noah and Sami here. Good to see Sami easing up a little and contributing to the social wellbeing of the group. Now on to the next chapter. I'm nearly caught up!

Sami will continue to be Sami. She's a free spirit and doesn't always listen. Thank you for the kind review.

This isn't exactly the way I wanted to catch up but it was still in my inbox. lol
A though...
~ up with more and more questions, don't you?" >> This is a rhetorical question, requiring no answer. It needs a period instead of the standard question mark.
~ She jumped grabbed Noah's arm and slid her hand down to interlock >> She jumped, grabbed Noah's arm, and slid her hand down to interlock
~ around Noah's arm and fingers still interlocked with his. >> around Noah's arm, fingers still interlocked with his.
~ "You're being sarcastic, aren't you?" >> another one where it should end in a period.

I like it, Barbara! I really am going to try to read from the beginning... :)
Blessings,
Deb

This is another excellent chapter building a rapport between everyone. Although there was not a lot of action, it still moved fast. I did not notice any typos. -- Yes, we had a lovely Easter. :-)

This was a fun chapter. Nothing too dangerous happened. There were social graces problems, questions about dog walking, games to play and coyotes and owls and Sami reactions.

Sometimes the pace needs to be slower, just to take a breath. Thank you for the kind review.

This work has reached the exceptional level

I'm glad to see Sami's changing her attitude and is warming up to Noah. She certainly has a lot of questions about getting groceries, trash pick-up, etc. It's interesting she suggests having games to play to see them through the evening. She is easily scared about the different sounds she hears. Noah makes some sarcastic comments about the threat of wolves, which seems pretty normal for him. Some humor in the situation but also a reminder of the threat from the human traffickers. judi

I think as this story goes along, you'll come to like Sami. She's a free spirit with a super kind heart.

Yes, I see she's changing her tone. She was putting herself at risk as well as taking up the time of the professionals investigating the case. judi

Hi Barbara!
We get to see a more human side of the security agents.
Everyone is starting to settle into routines. From normal domestic chores, to ways to entertain each other, they are working things out. I loved it when they talked about the hide-and-seek game. Too funny!

Hope you had a great Easter weekend!
Hugs,
Rhonda

This is coming along nicely. You have deepened the understanding between the people and why and how things work. You have explained to her and us how things need to work. Well done. Karen
