I love mirrored poetry and you have done a super job with this one. I am sorry my sixes are gone. -- It seems I also said that to you recently. If so, it underscores what an excellent poet you are. Smiles, Lily

This is skilfully composed, Joan! I looked at the club suggestion myself and considered it but, sadly, didn't get far:( But yours captures the essence of those bleak months with excellent syntax in both elements of the mirror cinquain. Well done! Debbie

Well done with your Winter Mirror Cinquain poem, Joan. Good desription of the bleakness of winter as leaves fall to grounded and, it works well in the mirror image too.
cheers,
valda

I've never seen this type of poetry before, but I really liked it! (Please excuse my ignorance. I am not really a poet.) I had to read it more than once to get the full feel of it. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Thanks, Jessi, for the review. It was a new form for me too. As are a lot of the poems I write for this club. It is a way to learn.

I see that your mirror cinquain really mirror each other. The examples didn't quite show that same mirroring but I guess this could be one way to write it. They really mirror each other! Hope spring comes to stay awhile!

Try Hank?s for reading and reviewing, Helen.
Here Spring has left. We got snow today and it is supposed to snow sporadically for the next two days. Hope you get Spring though.
