I really like the premise of this serial killer. Very interesting way to mark his victims. I enjoyed this story and think it is a good entry for the 100 Word Story contest. Thanks for sharing and good luck.

Like your poem, the print is easy to read. The image states that we should
die with memories not dreams; I wonder if we feel the same way. Kind of sad to think that when we die, we die without memories and dreams. But we enter the eternal life of beauty and beyond.

It is funny how well you nailed how these killer think. Nobody's really wanting to be somebodies. Good work here. This is a unique piece.
Good luck in the competition.

This is a well-written story. Each word required for this contest has been met. The story was easy to follow and very interesting. The conclusion of the story sums it up well. Nice job.

That is a very dramatic and well written. A complete story told very briefly and the character of the assassin is clearly delineated. Your required words have been smoothly incorporated. Best wishes for the contest.

Different take on this prompt than how others would approach the topic.
Hand-counted 100 words, so meets that requirement of the contest.
"Calligraphy Killer" is an awesome name for a serial murderer whether they be a coward or not.
Used all five required words.
One minor nit. There should be a space between "face,I" so it reads face, I.

I have filled in that space which, appearing so near the beginning, must have set you on the hunt for more such common infractions.......

I do find the name "Calligraphy Killer" is quite funny, and the narration reminds me a bit of what I would suspect the Riddler from Batman to be thinking whenever he writes out his plots.
This was a really creative way to hit this prompt. Thanks for sharing.

This is an excellent short story for the contest.
A case for Sherlock Holmes or one of the many great detectives.
Not to many can write calligraphy well, so it shouldn't be too difficult to solve.
Well done.
Good luck in the contest.

This story was both lovely and very disturbing. I almost wish you had a disclaimer or warning on this, but I understand that it's not needed. You did a good job including the words supplied. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Calligraphy killer! His name is alliterative! Good, unique story, properly using the required words, told from a creepy point of view. Nice entry for the contest! Julie.
