This sound like the beginning of an interesting story. You have a unusual group of characters lined up here. Jasmine got tossed about quite a bit in the storm. I look forward to reading more of your fantacy fiction.

This is an interesting story from the lands of enchantments. I believe I read some of Piper's story when he was much younger. Is he already creating some of that special song wanted for the Duke's birthday?

I had no trouble following, although this is my first read of your story. Fantasy is really not my preferred genre. You did this well, your picture is glorious, Go to Pinterest and you will find tons of pictures suited to fairy life. Karen

Sometimes I get frustrated because I keep myself so strapping with reading commitments that I can't find time to read others and venture into new genres. And although I've never read much fantasy, I always enjoy yours. Thanks for sharing.

This is an enjoyable read, WJD.

I loved the storm scene and her nosedive into a bubble which protected her from her fall. I was pulled into every scene and felt as though I was there.

This type of story is usually not my cup of tea, but it's intriguing, and I'm looking forward to the next.

Best, JohnC

Hi W.J.DEBI, I like fairy tales and had fun reading this one. I think you have a good beginning and one can't help wonder where the story will take us!
Love the beginning where Jasmine was being blown around in the bubble. The only place I have a question is where you said after bouncing around in the trees the protective bubble dissolved. Later you say when the weather cleared Jasmine dissolved the bubble and took flight! Did she create another bubble after the first one dissolved? Other than that I really enjoyed the way your imagination works and will be back to read other chapters. :o) Helvi

Hello Debi,
One cannot silence a piper, for music finds cracks in walls and seeks freedom.
It's good to hear music floating into the night, and learn Piper will be composing and playing for Lady Eloise as well.
I like the stormy beginning and the fairie solution to the strong winds. Jasmine will be a fine character in the new story.
And the hint of a bit of potential romance too. :)
Nice play on words in the title Play the Piper. The addition of the "l" changes everything.
Play on my piper friend.
Best wishes.
Robert

Great artwork and story to go with it, Debi. What a nice surprise to see the story announced in my message box. You are off to a great start. I like all of the detail relating to Jasmine. I can imagine she would rather be in the Faerie Realm with the weather the way it was. You do a good job showing how difficult it was for her to navigate the storm.

The scene with her and Piper was also done well, and Piper was amused by her complaining coming from such a small voice. The setting is appropriate for the month of March!

Is Grand Master Kort new? I don't recall the name or what he did. A very good scene with Master Braun and Piper regarding his assignment which he is a bit hesitant about.

I like the ending with a reflective mood from the beauty of nature, the melody from the flute, as well as the "melody full of yearning for lands far, far away." I'm sure Piper is missing his family in the alternate realm. I look forward to the development in this story.

Good morning -
What a beautiful described fairyland to wake up to. Your description of the storm and the beautiful landscape is perfect. It appears as if there might be a budding relationship growing much to Piper's chagrin. It was a magical read.
Smiles, Carol
