When mistakes are made, it's sad to think that you cannot trust anyone.
Trust is a huge factor; even for a cat that needs to be declared and made known to trust and not be so mean!

This is a funny recollection of an outing with Mrs. McLump and the famous cat, Sir Meowy. It is made more real with the destruction of property and the assumed dissociative resolve of the feline.

It's a very smooth flowing witty poem posting but my favorite line in this poem is "Mrs. McLump accepted, put on rouge most happily," I couldn't stop laughing with that picture in my mind. Thank you for Sharing your poem and Good Luck in the contest

Sir Meowy has everything under control--his style of control, of course. He's had his food and his fun.
This has fun end rhymes and a jaunty meter, making it fun to read aloud especially if you have a child handy.

What a cute story! Sir Meowy didn't live up to his name. He acts like a scoundrel, not a gentleman. He was mostly interested in the food. I think that's typical behavior--to show no remorse of they've done something wrong. My cats are declawed but they still like to rub their paws against the furniture. Excellent rhyme and flow. This certainly something you could tell about just any cat. Best of luck in the contest with this adorable entry. jud9

Adorable and filled with bits of humor and some naughty kittens as well. The dialogue was done well and the story flowed well. Like men who have feasted and had their fill, Mr. Meowy must now take a nap.
