Crystie: This is for sure a Hallmark moment that only nature could create
and for man to appreciate...Alliterations: L's, luscious/layers; T's, towering/thunderheads; B's, brown/barrel, brown/bark; jutting/Jeffrey;
S's, scarlet/scion.
Similes; like scarlet scion; as British guards.
These few poetic devices adds musicality to an already loaded picture of a spectrum of glorious colors...This scene is a joy to behold, almost as
captivating as sunsets seen at Gates Pass on the southwest side of Tucson, Arizona:) Good luck in the contest. teafor2

I think our family visited the area once around 1984. But the mother of a friend of mine recently moved to Gardnerville nearby, and now I am thinking, "Summer vacation trip maybe?" Thank you for your super review.
