Hi Crystie,
This is a nicely written poem that flow well with it simple rhymes which tells about lovers separated. It says that love doesn't have to be dramatic to be deep and real.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

I may recall a hillock where we'd sit,
where gentians sway--the way we used to dance.
