Ya, so what? I knew your were a liar from the get-go. Anybody raised at a race track reading the Daily Racing Form before puberty was groomed to be a liar.
Nah, don't let go of Tucker. Think of the Will Robie series by Baldacci. Just don't bet your fortune on a grey appaloosa in a claiming race.

The best line in your post: "Because I'm old," he said. "Even those of us who aren't too smart learn if they live long enough . . . well, most of us anyway."

I'm still learning. It's what I remember, that I wish I could forget.

Thank you so much, Yard, for your extra special six-star review, kind words, and comments. You know what they say: "if you're going to be a liar, be a good one." Your last sentence is a great one. I'm still learning too, but like you, I'd better use it quick or it's gone. Much appreciated!

This was really intense. Don't rush the ending, Ric. Your characters will let you know when it's time. There was some very intense moments in this, I won't lie, I cringed a bit. But it would have sounded like a Disney production of Scarface, had you softened the blow. This is a really well written story. I enjoyed this. Gretchen

Aha. Tucker and Farnsworth hopefully to the rescue. I want to know why when these guys put Tucker and Farnsworth in a burning house and in a situation no one short of a Houdini could escape from, they know they are still alive and leave them a not tacked on a tree.

Well, Beth, they were smart enough to figure out how to escape the fire back in part-9. Of course it took me the better part of two months do make a plan. LOL. Thanks so much for hanging with me so long on this one. Much appreciated!

I think if you took a vote, you'd find that 99.9% of us don't want Tucker to go anywhere. Not with the intensity of your writing and that's
intensity with a capital "I" in this case. Something (at least on my laptop) went a little haywire with your post extending out through your profile...
beginning after this line:

"Sure, just tell me where to meet you." Tucker obviously itched to confront Francisco in person."

(Damn Advanced Editor stays up nights trying to figure out how to make us pull our hair out!)

I'm sure you'll wrestle it into place and fully expect this to be not only a nominee "of the month" but a winner!

Hi, my sweet friend who I haven't crossed paths with in weeks. I've been thinking about you often lately and had thought for a week about looking you up if I didn't see you soon. :-) It isn't your computer that's messed up, it's this damn editor. I've tried to redo it seven times by restructuring, but once I finally got it where it was readable, I posted it any way. If you have any idea on how I can fix it, let me know. I would greatly appreciate it. But I'll always appreciate you more!

Hello! I haven't a clue how to fix it! I'd contact Tom and ask him to look into it!

Dang Bro, I wanted the story to just keep going. I understand what you are doing and where you are going. Reading this is like enjoying my favorite dessert, you don't want it to ever end, yet you know it has to. I can hardly wait for the next episode.

Thank you so much, Nomi, for another of your always encouraging and kind reviews. Like all of us, I love the extra stars. But most of all, I'm just happy you've hung with me so long and still seem to be liking my foolishness. I appreciate YOU!

Was it fate? I believe so, my friend. Returning to Fanstory just in time to be pulled into a Tucker story complete with it's usual macho violence and skillful cleverness. Of course, sitting on the edge of my seat, shoulders tense, I cheered our hero on, fearing the worst but knowing good would triumph. Way to go! I definitely enjoyed your charming way of painting a picture to send chills up the reader's spine. I missed you.....

Hugs, Carol

Hello, Carol, my dear! What a pleasant surprise to see your name pop up. I've thought a lot about you lately and hoped you'd be back soon. All the flashy stars are great, but most of all I'm just happy you were entertained a little bit. There's nothing better than be read by those we enjoy reading most. Much appreciated!

How iscTucker going to handle this one, at least in more favourable terms, than his life and his partners for that of TD's and Tammy's, mmh, but I guess that's why you're the writer, and I'm merely the reviewer...of sorts, drugs does seem to attract all the refuse of the earth, beautifully written mate, blessings Roy
Typo : Sen(I)or Tucker.

Thank you so much, Roy, for taking time out to read my foolishness that I know is way outside your preferred zone. I always appreciate your kindness, encouragement, comments, and suggestions. The typo, with the accent over the e is senior written in Spanish. Much appreciated!

I'm glad Tucker doesn't want to go. I am enjoying reading this story and you're doing a great job writing. Thank you for sharing it with us. I do hope Tucker and company get there in time. I couldn't find anyway to improve this.

Hi Ric, I know the feeling. The story and the characters just won't let you go. There's some horrific fates in this part. Fast moving it certainly is.
Found this:
Pretending not (to) see Tammy's
Also the for me at suddenly changed towards the end. All best, Ulla:)))

Thanks so much, Ulla, for your kind words, comments, and suggestions. They are always appreciated. It seems no matter what I seem to read right through those little mistakes. As for the sudden change about half way through, that wasn't anything I did. It's the formatting on that crazy advance editor. I redid it seven times and to get it to work right, then I finally just posted it anyway. I'll keep trying to correct it, since it's hard to read and understand like it is. Thank again!
