Oh No! Not Woody Woodpecker! I'm a Floridian, and we don't want Woody hurt. LOL. I enjoyed this action-packed episode with graphic descriptions, and realistic dialogue. Please don't rush the ending. Give Tucker all the time he needs to develop a plan to defeat the cartel, save Tammy and T.D., as well as himself and Farnsworth. All of that can't be accomplished in one chapter. I'll be here waiting to see what tucker decides.

Thank you so much, Lorraine, for your generous and kind review. I've been trying to end this series for months, it just keeps dragging on. LOL. I appreciate you hanging in there with me for so long. And I bet you know that the new mascot for Universal/Disney is now Woody Woodpecker. I appreciate YOU!

Excellent writing and I'm looking forward to another chapter! Glad it did not end. I have read the various chapters in an haphazard fashion, but each of them makes me want to find the next one. Great descriptions and excellent scene setting. Good job. ann

Thank you so much, Ann, for hanging in there with me for another chapter, your generous review, and kind words. This is how I entertain myself now that there isn't much excitement going on in real life. LOL. Much appreciated!

So, you do know how to post something once in a while. Good. Plenty of action, that is just getting heated up. Write MORE and FASTER. Tucker better get a move on if he intends to save his amigos. Will follow this all the way through.

Thanks so much, Brett, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. And most of all for always hanging in there with me with my foolishness. I've been trying to end this series for months, but the characters just won't seem to let it happen. I'm hoping maybe next chapter. LOL. I appreciate YOU!

***Virtual six ***for this superbly written chapter. You are so wicked though, my friend. How could you leave Tammy there with those horrible people? Now, I'm worried sick about her! I dearly hope the next chapter is forthcoming and soon. Not a nit to be found here, and as always, written like a pro.
Sending you my best today as always.

LOL.

You had better face the music, my friend Ric, that this saga will never end. I hope that's the truth. You've captivated me again with your descriptive ways and your savvy dialogue.

The wheels of fortune were a grizzly touch! best, JohnC

Thank you so much, JohnC, for another of your kind and encouraging reviews that I always look forward to. I've tried to end this series for months, but I'm glad a few people keep hanging in there with the repetitive foolishness. Much appreciated!

Wow. You've done it again Ric. Another fast paced adventure for Tucker and Farnswortn. I wouldn't fancy the rat and bat infested tunnel. They must be totally fearless. A very exciting read. Keep'em coming Ric. Take care. Jen.

Thank you so much, Jen, for another of your encouraging star-laden reviews. I've been trying to end this series for about 4 or 5 parts but the characters just won't let me. I'm sure people are tried of reading about them, and honestly, I'm tired of writing the same genre. LOL. But I never get tired of knowing those I enjoy reading and communicating with are still with me. I appreciate YOU!

As always, the descriptive language adds much to the narrative. "necks elongated, heads tilted, and pensile tongues out the corners of their mouths" might be gruesome to read, but it perfectly describes a gruesome scene.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this, but your text runs across the computer screen about midway down - actually goes beneath your profile picture so that the words disappear and then runs across your profile info. I've never seen this before, and can't tell you how to fix it.

A man with the knowledge of "arcane information", lol! That reminds me of someone:-)

I'm very happy that Tucker has returned, and am looking forward to the REAL final installment when we see how this all ends. Let's shoot for something this year, please:-) Just teasing you.

A very good read throughout - I enjoyed it.

xo

It's always nice to see those special faces pop up on my screen and know you're still hanging in there with my foolishness. I don't know why the heck after about half the story it runs into the profile and off the page. I reformatted and cut and reposted seven or eight times and there is nothing I can do to change it. At least so far. So, after four hours or so of trying to post a readable story, I posted it anyway flaws and all. LOL. Thanks for all the stars, kind words, and suggestions. You and what you have to say are always appreciated!

Let him stay, please let him stay. Each episode is packed with fast paced action which plays like hitting a punching bowl. It was a delight to read at least 3 times to catch all the nuances. kay one strengthener: Desperation on Tucker's face. > Desperation was etched across Tucker's face.

On Sunday, and for good reason. I love your stuff, handsome; like I said before, I will read your Tucker stories all the way to 109. By then, I figure you might run out of steam, so I am not promising after that.
Great writing as always. Karen

LOL. Oh, yeah. I don't remember the names of hardly anything. Hell, I don't remember the names of most of my own stories.

Yeah, so now I get to read some of the old Karen as well as splash around with the new you. Ooh, shame on me for that thought. :-)

My new icon would splash right back. I really like that expression on her face.
You just know she wants to be naughty( in a lady-like way).

Naughty, in a lady-like way? What the hell is that? Naughty is naughty, and like that old man who advertises Pernell's whole hog sausage, "It's good."
reply by Karen Cherry Threadgill on 22-Jan-2024
Lady-like is saying "Darlin' would you move it a little to the left? Unlady-like is "Stir it around buster, you're missing spots! :-) Karen

How have I missed this story?! It's wonderful. Great characters and a lot of tension building up. I can't think how Tucker is going to pull this off, but I'm in 'til the end.

Thank you so much, Yvonne, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. This being chapter 10, I've been trying to end this series for about 4 parts. But since I don't outline or have any idea what I'm going to write, I just let the characters take me where they want to. LOL. Much appreciated!
reply by damommy on 21-Jan-2024
I know what you mean. I've been writing chapters such a short time, but already I can see the characters have a way of their own. Mysterious, isn't it!
