This was a quirky take on Christmas. The meaning does get muddles, doesn't it? We have such varied traditions by which we celebrate. It was funny watching the alien try to blend in.

I loved your fun story. It was gun yo teeth of our earthly seasonal festivals through the eyes of the alien. I can see where he could become very confused about things regarding what... or most importantly... who... is the reason for the season.
If truth be known, many earthlings are confused over that question as well. Lol.

So clever and thought provoking. The commercialization of Christmas really has gotten out of hand. Now, I heard, Halloween is the holiday celebration most on the rise. So sad!

I can imagine how confusing Christmas would be for an alien! Is it about Santa Clause or Jesus? That's confusing enough for us humans. We know what it's supposed to be, but that's not always the way it is. How is an alien supposed to figure that out?

What a fabulous story told so imaginatively with humour and fun! Our rituals are, indeed, bizarre and anyone coming from space would be hard pushed to understand or make sense of them. One correction Santa's sleigh is pulled by nine reindeer: Dancer, Prancer, Dasher, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph.
