I enjoyed your contest entry, Mystery Author. I like that you repeated that phrase at the end that was included near the middle. You described the dinner prep well. I could see everything you mentioned from the bread making to the peeling of the potatoes and everything in between. I could feel her anxiousness about the Man she was preparing the food for. Your words are filled with great imagery. Best wishes.
