Great last line, a real page turner.
It's perfect the way it is, but if it was me, I'd call it the naked truth, bringing the stark reality of the strip club into Rory's reality--this ain't a mother--she's a stripper.

Good writing style, could possibly benefit from a little bit more description, or possibly some insight into the characters thoughts. Still really good as is though.
