Looking Inward at Lonely

Not Lonely

quiet days and nights of considering
what I know to be true
have changed me

for I am alone; not lonely

i still love my life
but it is one of observation;
less conversation

i try harder to stay involved

I argue against myself
who wants to stay home

i would rather have another
hand to hold...

yet I use both of mine to pray
that I will find peace

in my quiet days and nights of considering.
