This is my life,

by Jackarrie

I was born during the second world war, when there was a shortage of food, and luxury items.

My father was serving in the Royal Air Force. He did not see me until I was six months old.  I had one brother and seven sisters
.
I married my first love at the age of twenty. Three daughters followed, quite quickly. I suffered burnout from over working. With self help books, I learned to enjoy living in the present.
I took up  painting while recovering from a spinal fusion, and  had successful exhibitions.

Studied Astrology and became the president of the association, I enjoyed giving lectures on this fascinating subject.

Now I am retired I enjoy painting writing, travel, gardening, and listening to my grandchildren chatter,  seven altogether.

Life is so good for me at present. We will celebrate our Golden wedding anniversary in August  this year.
