A Triolet Poem about Loneliness
A chapter in the book Picture Poems
Children's Joy
by Treischel
Children's Joy
I watched children play in the field. Their energy lifted my soul, As tiny joy and laughter peeled. I watched children play in the field, As they ran and jumped and squealed. Sitting alone, my heart they stole! I watched children play in the field. Their energy lifted my soul. |
Children are innocent and carefree. Watching them can lift your spirits.
For this poem I imagined a lonely old person coming to the park and being renewed by their energy.
