My Last Day

by HarryT

I have had a long and, for the greatest part, a happy life. And I'm now I'm tired and ready. I know this is my last day. I made mistakes I am sorry about. My biggest regret, not spending enough time with my children through their teen years, after divorcing my first wife. I must thank their mother she did a fine job raising them. My second marriage has been very happy. I am very thankful for Lorie, who stuck with me through some dark times, including job firings and relocation. Most of all, I want my children to know that I am proud of them, and I love them. Thank you, Lorie, for choosing to be my wife. You will be in my heart for all eternity.
