Times Of Sadness

We're sad when we're betrayed,

When old memories fade.

We're sad when best friends leave,

And any time we grieve.

We're sad when our hearts ache;

When there's pain we can't take,

Any time we feel stressed

Although we've done our best.

When there's friendships we lose;

We receive some bad news.

Each time we feel alone;

A fire burning our home.

When children don't obey

Any words which we say,

We turn to God above

To fill our hearts with love.

When we're lost, afraid

Or being underpaid.

Each project we redo

Brings lots of sadness too.
