Making a choice

A Hard Long Life

It has taken many decades to learn
most of my painful journey
I caused myself
acknowlege it
own it
 
I Did It MY Way
as the song says
 
When I opened my heart
to God
to Jesus whom I fell in love with
age five in an orphanade
the Holy Spirit came in
 
I have a freedom and peace
I could never imagine.
At times my heart swells
to bursting with gratitude
 
If only
I could live it again this way
but alas I can share this Glory
and hop others will want the same

I was correct when I believed I didn't deserve God's love. It is through His Grace I have it. I am a child of God. He loves me and has always had His hand on me. I know that now Thankfully. I love you Jesus. Thank you for taking my sins and forgiving me and guiding me to self forgiveness. Changing my heart and mind.
