Fun times with my grandkids

Sweet Memories

Summers with my grandkids gave me such joy,  just like my favorite cookie, chips ahoy.
 
Planning our trip to the pool every day, they always wanted to have their own way
 
I loved to see the look on their faces, sometimes the pool had very few spaces
 
Their eyes lit up when movie day came, most of the movies had great fame
 
Popcorn and candy cost too much money, many movies were so funny
 
No talking, it's movie time, sure MeMa that is fine
 
Smiles and giggles they would make, do you know how long it will take?
 
Painting was one of the kids favorite crafts, loved to hear each of their laughs
 
They colored and pasted  a wooden object, such happy faces when working on a project 
 
What do we do on a rainy day? We have many games to play
 
My grandson wanted to change the rules, he also liked the different jewels
 
Card games were no different for him, Chris would do anything to win 
 
He always wanted to go first,  he acted like he was cursed
 
I miss having this time, I will try not to whine
