All the Fishes in the Sea

A small little fish traveled the sea
in search of another, of the color just like he
whose bright golden colors always stood out
a color all others seemed to all be without
 
He swam to the north, east, south, and west
wouldn't stop for a break or take a moments rest
he searched every rock overgrown with moss
his heart still yearning with a feeling of loss
 
With all of his strength, he pushed through the pain
he had nothing to lose and everything to gain
deep in the sea he saw a bright light
it was a fish just like he, oh what a delight
 
Don't let the big sea be the one to win
find your own fishes and never give in

Honestly share a story in a poem wasn't easy when I tried fitting the rhyming patterns into everything, so this is what I finally got.
