Canyon River Nonet

by CrystieCookie999

Canyon river currents run their route
past tall, moss-worn, white ash tree trunks.
grey boulders lined with lichen,
through sturdy scrub oak bush,
past last fall's tired leaves,
toward wild March,
facing spring
with cold
hope.

Thanks to willie for an intriguing experimental photo scene.
I picked the British spelling of 'grey' instead of 'gray,' because it felt a little more like the boulders were a gentler landscape feature.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
