Picked Apart...And Rightly So!

Poetry Contest
The topic for this poetry contest is: To choose a "saying" to PICK APART! (Examples: "You're looking through rose-coloured glasses.", "You can't see the forest for the trees", "What are ya? Chicken?!"...etc... The list could go on and on... This is a GREAT opportunity to be ESPECIALLY creative!
We all have heard "sayings" that we have thought to be redundant or idiotic at one point in our lives, I'm sure! Have some fun with this one! Take one of those annoying "sayings" and throw it right back at itself! (Or the person who said it to you!) THAT is the challenge!

Write a poem that somehow incorporates the topic. The poem should be topic based. Creative approaches are MORE than welcomed. Contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.

The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 60.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 5 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.

Deadline: Contest is closed. Deadline was Wednesday, December 15, 2010.
