Reference Letter
A key employee in your organization informs you that he needs a reference letter for a job in another company he wants to apply to. He tells you that the time has come for him to move on; and there is nothing you could do to persuade him otherwise.
This employee is extremely valuable; he is the key to the success of your whole company. And yet you cannot refuse him in his request.
Write a reference letter for this employee. But there is a twist. In your heart of hearts you are hoping that he will stay. The hope is slim, though. So, you need a special letter of reference - the kind that, while legitimate and effective on the surface, has a secret mechanism that might help you achieve your objective, and keep this employee in your company.
Maximum length: 1000 words
Creative approaches are welcomed.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 60.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
Deadline: Contest is closed. Deadline was Friday, December 24, 2010.
