3-5-3 Pet Orientation
Poetry Contest

Write a 3-5-3 on the topic of pet orientation.
Because of the $10 entry fee for this contest, in the interest of fairness to all participants, please strictly observe ALL of the following contest rules:
Creative approaches are welcome, however your entry must reference one or more household pets, real or imaginary. All warning prompts are permitted.
Line 1: 3 syllables
Line 2: 5 syllables
Line 3: 3 syllables
In the event of a dispute regarding syllable counts, ChatGPT shall be considered the arbiter of default. If challenged by the judges, contestants may submit dictionary or linguistic analysis appealing their syllable count assertions. Both mainstream US and British pronunciations will be considered valid.
Changing your text after contest voting has begun is strictly prohibited.
-all fonts and styles are permitted
-one image only, without animation
-no audio or video permitted
-If you include an image, the source MUST be cited, either in your author notes or with a watermark on the image. For example, "Meta AI" appears in the lower right corner of images generated through Facebook's AI messenger service.
-Author notes may not include anything apart from image citations. No providing context, no tributes, no telling us about a true-life story about your pet, nothing. You may add this after contest voting has concluded. Use the 11 syllables and your image (if you include one) to tell your audience everything they need to know.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 120.00 member dollars. There are 6 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 180.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
