The topic for this contest is: The "reality" show.
Love 'em or hate 'em, reality shows are everywhere you look these days. For this contest, use any existing reality show, or one of your own creation, and write an episode from the viewpoint of one of your contestants. So, whether it's "Last Restaurant Standing," "America's Next Top Model," "Survivor," any one of the others, or even your own "new" reality show, let 'er rip.
Write a story that somehow incorporates the topic. The story does have to be specifically about the topic. It should clearly incorporate the topic into the story.
Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
Minimum length 700 words. Maximum Length 2,500 words. Recommended length 1,500- 2,500 words.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 35.00 member dollars. There are 5 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 60.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
