New Arrival Story
For our New Arrival "This Sentence Starts The Story" contest we challenge you to write a story that starts with this sentence: "Hell found me."
Your story must start with the sentence above. Fiction and non-fiction welcomed. Do not add to the sentence. You have the option to put it in quotes (for dialogue) and to change the punctuation at the end. But do not add to the sentence or change it in any other way.
Example:
"Hell found me!" screamed John. "The dialogue or story can continue..."
The story can be about anything but must start with the sentence above. Creative approaches are welcomed.
The purpose of this contest is to welcome new writers to the site. Entries accepted by new writers to the site only. Writers are welcomed to write other stories on the site (outside of the contest) to gain experience first.
One entry per person. New entries only. Minimum length 700 words. Maximum Length 7,000 words. Recommended length 2,000 - 3,500 words
The winners will be selected by the FanStory.com Contest Committee. The committee will read and discuss the entries. A winner will be announced approximately one to two weeks after the deadline passes.
This is a "New Arrival" contest which is designed to welcome new members to the site. You qualify for this contest and can participate. The winner takes away a $100 cash prize. All writers will receive feedback for their submission.
