Empty & Honest

Empty & Honest: I struggle every day with mental illness, it is a curse that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. But the struggle is real. So many people are tormented by their own minds (as I am), memories to most, are a mix of emotions. To me they are a painful reminder of my life. I am not saying that I don't have good memories, I do, but unfortunately the bad ones (even the ones that may not even be real) outweigh the good. I can't tell which voice is real, who is always talking and making noise when I'm all alone. I've sought therapy, I've been institutionalized, medicated, distressed, depressed and beaten down. I have always dug myself out, only head above water, to find myself falling into an endless abyss of pure nothingness. I hope to bring awareness to Mental Illness and the fact that others that suffer don't put their pain into words, they don't have anyone they feel they can confide in. Awareness is suicide prevention!!
