William Ross: Nika everyone has the same opportunity to promote their work as high as they want. yes some people add their own money others do by reviewing their butts off, but the same opportunities for everyone.
if you have a problem and think someone stole your work take it up with the site. Maybe your story just inspired another.
personally I have to review, don't have extra money to promote my work. Only takes a couple hours of reviewing to get on the front page.
I understand not everyone has that sort of time on their hands, but that's the way the game is played.
No one ever said life was fair.
And just because you promote to the top don't make a better writer, or a worse one.
the higher you promote the more reviews you will get. that is the idea of this place, to get reviews on your work, suggestions and possibly good help.
if you are promoted high enough to get the reviews, that is not everyone else's problem.
The biggest disadvantage here because I have to review is that I can only review enough in most cases to list 1 piece a day, if I had real cash I could 2.
there are plenty enough free pumps out there to promote your piece as high as you want.
You know what they say you only get out of it what you put into it.
