Ever since I was in seventh grade, I have loved writing. That was when I truly learned what writing was. I was sitting in my Life Skills class watching a movie when I noticed my friend writing something. When I asked her what she was writing, she told me a poem. After I read the piece, I noticed how much expression there was in her words. Right then, I had a stroke of inspiration. Following that, my friend told me that I wrote something great. That initial praise was an ignition spark. From then on, I have walked the path of the writer.
