I am a 70 year old lady who lives with chronic pain. I started to paint to help me deal with that pain. Up until the car accident that took my livelyhood away at the age of 25, I was hairdresser, make up artist and model. After hearing my hairdressing stories for a million times my son in law suggested I write about them so I did. I have published my first book called 'A Hairdresser's Diary' The sequel 'A Hairdresser's Diary - Scissors Retired' is in the process of being published.
I have written poems for as long as I can remember and have posted several here along with my original paintings to accompany each poem.
PLease visit www.author@ahairdressersdiary.com
I have three wonderful children, a son in law, 1 daughter in law who are just like my own. 2 grandchildren a 30 year old grandaughter and a 10 year old grandson. Ron and I have been married at 19 years old making us married 51 years when we are only 70 years old.
The friends here at Fanstory are invaluable and so supportive.
I value each and everyone of you.
I have posted some of my paintings on FANART
