A very nice post. We all have some gifts that we can't part with, mostly for sentimental value, I think. Most people do hold onto meaningful things, but that's okay. Marilyn

Hi Marilyn. Somebody broke into our home and stole jewelry, money, family albums with childhood awards and sentimental things like the toilet paper doll. There are some real scumbuckets. It was happening constantly to me on my own. I am happy for survillance camera technology now. Thank you. God bless you :)

The layout of your poem is very beautiful; the photo and the script lettering complement your poem about homemade treasures. I have a few of these treasures stashed away. I remember the pie pole who made them for me years ago, and the treasures become even more valuable. An excellent set of poems you can give as a keepsake for someone special. (I used to write poems in birthday cards). Best wishes.
