Yvette,
If this is true maybe if we teach everyone to be patient, let's say terrorists, for one, maybe they would find serenity in the true tenets of their religion and lives and not have to create havok and death.
Congrats on placing third in the contest.
Keep writing

Yeah, I think in every situation, Joan, the heart sees what it wants to see and is blind to the rest... :/ :/ Thanx for stopping by, Joan -- always so good to hear from you over here! ;) Yvette

My pleasure, Yvette. Hope you and yours are staying healthy in this pandemic.

You so rock, LIZ, just because your support is wonderful!! :) Of course, you know why I'm so late, but I do apologize!! Gonna get on top of this soon and be back to a 'new normal' .... I am an optimist! ;) Yvette

I'll buy that one... I know some patient people, my sister Joan for instance. I would have said, before I spoke to her earlier today, that she had the patience of a saint. However, it seems that potty training has gotten the better of her. Her granddaughter had 4 accidents today and she's up to her eyeballs in sheets and comforters... including her own. "Back in the diaper you go! I don't care anymore!" She hasn't yelled at anyone since... I don't know when. LOL I guess when you're 3 and a little pee machine, it will do that to a grandma.

Wow -- you were on a 'review catch-up run' a few days ago, yeah?! I'm hoping it was good 'working through the heart' time for you and you're doing okay...? Me? I'm just buried -- allotted myself the morning to try to get somewhat caught up on here, but I don't even know if it's possible at this point... ugh! But hey? Once I have gotten ahead of myself, I'm guessing something else will come up - LOL! That's what Murphy's Law would say, yeah? Take care! :)

Looks like you were doing some yourself! I'm pouring through the 51 replies I've got here, and still have 57 messages. I've got a few things I'd like to post... lol 10 bucks... maybe I can get up the thing I found in my mother's drawer... it's so funny... and people need a laugh. That settles that BLOTS, it's going up! :)

Oh, Rhonnie - you have made me NOT ready to just pull my hair out over here!! THANK YOU for this awesome review and those shining stars -- see? Help for the smile I have to wear as I make YouTube videos teaching math for my students!! ;) :) Please know that your support is always so wonderful and I am forever grateful!! ;)
Please understand that this is a ridiculously abbreviated (and cut/paste) response for me, but I have been (still am!) in the midst of converting everything to online learning for the mandated school closings for the foreseeable future. Once I get ?ahead? in this ?change of venues? (i.e., instruction in cyberspace ? lol!), I promise to be back to ?me? in my responses? you know, the crazy blonde fantasy chick! ;) ;)
Be safe and, remember, if you see any offerings/reviews from me, they are my ?escape? from this insanity? you know, my pressure release valve!! ;) ;)
Take care of you and we?ll be sailing smoothly again in a few more days? hopefully!

This is nicely composed, Yvette. Patient people do have a special place in heaven. They are our sounding board when we need an ear the most. Best of luck in the contest. Marilyn

Patience is that virtue that I must have been out-to-lunch for when they were passing them out at birth...LOL! :) But I'm certainly getting better... I think. ;) ;) ;) So glad you enjoyed this one, Bea! ;) Take care this week! ;) Yvette

Beautiful artwork to compliment your well chosen words in this 6 word poem. Patience is an interesting topic. We are studying the fruits of the spirit and church right now.
I too will spend my lifetime trying to master that particular gift.
Well done.
Blessings

You have made excellent use of the six words the prompt allows. Some people are just naturally more patient--and therefore more peaceful--than others. I have to pray about this frequently.

I will be pondering this for a while, Yvette. Patience is a funny trait. I am definitely patient in 90% of my life. Really, really, really patient. I am far from serene though. I think I use my patience as a gift to others because I can. Deep down I am bubbling with anxiety. Only you know that now.
I like your 6 word poem. It's intriguing.

That's because you have such a big heart, MQ -- you don't want to disturb others' zen so you make yourself be patient with them... it is, as you say, a gift you give from that heart of yours!! ;) Now, me? Well, patience is that virtue that I must have been out-to-lunch for when they were passing them out at birth...LOL! :) But I'm certainly getting better... I think. ;) ;) ;) So glad you enjoyed this one, my Beautiful Friend! ;)

I am jealous of the online skills that you will be acquiring. I wish someone would teach me how to do what you are doing. It's how the world goes nowadays.

I will try to keep your positive attitude in mind, my lady, as I'm sure my patience will be scarce.... as usual! Loll... sort of... ;) ;)

That's a lot packed into six words. I like that every word carries weight, and, though I had to read it a couple times to get the full sense of it, it wasn't great sounding words in a senseless sentence. It had meaning, even in so little space. Double thumbs up! :)
