That's a very nice element of including all the family of other string instruments.
It's easy to see that you have a deep appreciation and understanding of the richness of the stand up bass. They are beautiful in appearance and sound, but must be very difficult to haul around for jam sessions.

Of course the bass and drums are an integral part of an orchestra, or indeed and ensemble form, only the guitar or piano are complete instruments within themselves, but base and drums sit underneath. One feels more the hears, they need considerable amplifications for that. Beautifully written Jim, and literally personifying the base. I love the bass.I love your room placement such as finger linger, and sound rebound.The words deep rich really enhance sound rebound. There is nothing like the sound of a bass - and a double bass. I love it when one of our church members plays that for our music service. it's something that goes way deep in the soul. Good poem.
