A delightful poem and I do hope you will get some acting roles soon. I liked all your lists of things that bring you joy and loved your picture of anthuriums - one of my favorite flowers. Congratulations on placing in the contest!!

like your poem. I like the things that make you happy. The one verse about finding a couch where you can escape from all the drama. We deserve a nap when things get too wild.

This a beautiful and relatable poem. The simple things that bring you joy, remind me of how much happiness my own life holds for being able to also appreciate these things. Thank you for sharing =)

Acting makes you feel happy, likewise you feel happy in drawing, reading, writing, cleaning, shopping and listening to chirping birds, well said, well done.

Well written poem about being happy with simple things in life and giving God the credit. I like that line, "I drink my coffee In gulps of thirds." Keep on writing and enjoying simple things.

I enjoyed reading your poem on what makes you happy. Many of those things make me happy, too. Once in a while escapism is perfectly fine. It gives us a chance to clear the cobwebs. Marilyn

We exude happiness and please others when we feel happiness in our hearts. You made me smile when you say you like shopping and cleaning!
