An octopus! No, too touchy-feely. Better drop his itenticle twin, too. Even if you do share a love of poetry. These are certainly fun reads for the rest of us, though!

I'm still having fun writing them so i'll keep going. Plenty more animals to be rejected by.

It must have been a tight squeeze to fit in all those arms, LisaMay. But I imagine that you have always been a hard woman to handle. :) So all these 50 worders make up your book? What would the title be? My boyfriends of the wild? Good write woman keep it up.

I quite liked that octopus who couldn't keep his hands off me... very touchy-feely.
Maybe the book title could be: Boyfriends can be such animals!

A piece of very well-written dating advice stay clear from the sucker who cannot keep his hand off you, he will overwhelm you and squeeze the life out of you.

yum... he tasted nice after I bashed him to tenderise him then cooked him and served him with a Greek salad.

Haha. Your use of witty made up words carried the day on this fun Octopus verse. You have added great scientific notes to show that you are adept at scholarly pursuits. Perhaps, these loser boyfriends do not like the fact that you are smarter than they are. LOL..

Fun!

Melissa

That could be true of some of my failed romances with other critters, but the octopus was very intelligent in his own way.
    Thanks for your review.

Great job with this fun poem, Lisa. Clever and amusing. Good word choices. Your series is wonderful and I wish you the best with it. I think it would be a hit to publish. Author's note is equally amusing. Marilyn

Thanks for reviewing. I do intend to put a book together with these. I have written the end story... just working my way through animals to get there.

Octopuses are fascinating creatures. The Chinese characters for this creature is a 'literary fish.' It could be because of the 'ink.' I enjoyed all your fun puns especially the "low crab" diet!

A literary fish is a nice way to describe an octopus.
    Thanks for reviewing.

Hey LesaMay. This is a funny poem in your series. You did an excellent job playing with words on this one. Some of the words are very clever and that makes it work. Robert

LOL! I really love this one. They're all great, actually, and should be made into an illustrated book for kids 8 to 80. You are very good at creating puns, a rare talent my hubby admires, :)

Thanks for your wonderful high rating. Your comment about making a book supports my own ideas for this series... it should appeal to a wide age range; some of the humour will go over younger readers' heads, but the adults will get it.

This is one of your best, in my opinion. I love all the fun words you chose such as preoctopied and pulled a mussel.

I particularly got a chuckle out of the low-crab diet. Very entertaining, Lisa, and earned you the extra star. Hugs, Lou

I was pleased with this one also. Thanks for your brilliant review. Some critters are easier to write about than others.
