This is a wonderful tribute to your hubby, your honey. I think that's what makes for longevity in a marriage/relationship--respect and appreciation of each other--in addition to the love.

The stanza referring to Bette Midler's song, Wind Beneath My Wings," is a little awkward. It is obvious what you are saying. I think playing around with those words could help the flow.

This ryhmes well and has good rhythm. I like its message. Those who don't have a long standing relationship are missing out on a lot of the joy or living.

Writer, reading this was almost like reading about the man who was my husband for almost 37 years. You say you honey is one of a kind, but I want you to know he had a twin in my late husband. I am sure of where my vote will be for this contest. Patricia
