It is beginning to seem as if all we can trust is ourselves and close family/friends. Food safety-a joke. Where there is fraking- flammable tap water. Idiots saying global warming is a lie- it just never seems to end. Just one typo- skys should be skies.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. The urge to write this came after watching a lot of CNN - bad politics and bad politicians, warnings about foods/meds, more shootings on a college campus. . .it never ends, just gets worse. I think that Obama is probably a good man in comparison to most other politicians, but he has not demonstrated the strength necessary to run this nation effectively. Hilary needs to answer for Benghazi. . .it should not be "swept under the rug". Thanks for "listening". Must now get down from my soapbox and keep on writing. livelylinda

Your poem was full of the things I too believe are wrong with our society-very distressing. But, I am glad you had the courage to write about them and wish more people would do the same.
