Can't trust anyone.
Trust - Losing Viability
our parents are the first to teach us
we trust they guide us to what is right
later we find their secrets of lust
then realize their stories of plight
who do we trust when our parents deceive us
we are taught to believe in our Priests
who'll teach us to be closer to God
don't tell us some are pedophile beasts
only curious of our young bod
church defiled, imagine their guile
parents sent us to school with relief
no doubt that we would be protected
but circumstances caused so much grief
'cause no searches, no guns detected
school days, good old fashioned rule days
Federal laws protect food supply
regulations keep safe meds and food
we soon discovered that was a lie
their efforts for our health very crude
Aldi's beef, really horst meat
sports figures we cheer to victory
discover they're hopped up on steroid
cheaters not heroes their history
American icon becomes void
no Hall of Fame, instead, Cave of Shame
corrupt politians daily news
President tells us Big Brother good
governor stated he never knew
their denials put me in bad mood
who to vote for, none any more
turn on the tap water, it is brown
contaminated with chemicals
water will kill you, don't have to drown
quiet are the guilty radicals
parents tell lies
priests with lusting eyes
teachers cavort with students
airlines fall out of skys
trains derail, passengers cry
buses drive through fences
cruise ships run aground
catch fire, hit a bridge
head on, sunny day
politians continue to lie
and have just terrible memories
food and water can't be ingested
who and what is left to be trusted
grandma nicely dusted

This began with a syllable count of 9/9/9/9 and abab rhyme. Close to the end it became a rant and all rules were thrown to the Heavens. Thanks to avmurray for the picture, "Trust".
