This is powerful. My favorite part is the bottom sentence. Oh to be able to tell the good news to those blowing in the wind before it is too late.

The leaves that blow are the lost souls...wow...excellent. Great poem and thought. The tree of faith, strong in belief and greater in power. Excellent!

Teresa, this write is original in form, thought and presentation. The shape of the tree sets the tone while the vivid mental imagery lets the reader know that God gives life and what we do with Him determines if we are fruitful or useless in this life. Great metaphor usage in the dead leaves "blowing where it listeth". :0 GracieAnn

Very creative piece. The form is unique and you do it justice with your work. Like the imagery you had as well. Nice job.

good use of extended metaphor
excellent use of enjambment to keep thoughts flowing from line to line
vivid descriptive detail
good use of action verbs to breathe life into the scene
I really like the imagery and the message it delivers

This is a wonderful poem. The form enhances the piece. You communicate your theme well. The word choice is quite vivid. Barbara

A lovely way to write of the tree in this way - what the trunk symbolises and the branches. The trees that fall beneath the tree energize and promote new growth. The leaves that blow away are describing, I think, those who have strayed from the faith. But are their souls lost? A well written poem and cleverly displayed in the form of a tree. Regards Dorothy

An excellent picture to complement this free verse, that is also shaped. I loved how you described the trees and especially the last few lines.

From beginning to end and then to start again, this was a lovely poem, it has a very gentle flow and the words give a very peaceful feeling, The picture is beautiful, if I'm not mistaken I'd say it's a bottle tree, one of my many favourites, a great read :-)
