The Tree of Faith

God, the roots that nourish, strengthen.
The strong, the mature in God's word make the trunk
that support the limbs and branches
giving strength and courage
to flourish
new growth
into sprouting fruit, nuts, blossoms.
The fallen
leaves
decaying
under
the tree
re-energize,
re-new.
The
leaves
that
blow
are
the
lost
souls.
