Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

This poem was almost unbearable. I am so sorry if you have been going through something like this. But you sound like you have a lot of positive things in your life.

The poem is fictional but based on personal experiences due to bipolar disease.

Thank you very much for your exceptional six stars review and kind words 😊

That's devastating that someone would reach that end of hope that she would make arrangements for her bird and cat and prepare to die. It's good that she listened to God's voice to "hold on and wait for the light."

Great picture and that's quite the feat of sleep walking!

Yes, I lived alone for ten years after our divorce, and it got bad. I didn't have friends, and my kids only visited once in a while. There were times when it was me and God. He was always in my corner. I am glad I hung in there, life is much better, and I got to take care my grandson since he was 6 months old.

    Thank you, big sister,

    love,

A cry from the heart here in this Letter from the Ledge with might also be from the edge of reason. Despair at its height as the subject systematically outlines what's left in their life. Then, at the end, there is the realisation that God will provide the light in the darkness. Thank you for sharing this poignant, desperate plea depicting mental illness and its potential saviour. Take care Debbie

Bipolar disorder is very serious as I know you are aware. I have seen how it affects the individual and the other family and friends as well. I like how your poem shows that there is a way to treat it with the right intervention, including medication and a support system. Thank you for sharing.
