So Beautifully written, RodG, using well chosen words to present to us an Ode worth reading over and over again...(that's what I did)...It's both Expressive, and Unique.
Thanks for sharing...
It was a pleasure reading.
Congratulations on the Win!
Warmly,
Victoria

Yep, it is VERY obvious from this delightful ode that Spring is absolutely your favorite time of year!!
These were my favorite lines - so creative with their slant/word choices!!
*like popping corn gone wild.
*A crowd of saucy flowers whirl,
their faces all upraised
Here in Upstate NY, we're still waiting for Spring to arrive. Today, it was in the 20's with flurries. *sighhhhh* So, thank you for the vicarious thrill. xoxo

Hi Rod, I so love rhyme an rhythm and you achieved it perfectly. The flow is so easy and takes you into a world of beauty. I love the image, but even more I like where my imagination takes me. Your lovely expression of spring was a joy to read. A perfect ode with breathtaking views! I can definitely see why you won the contest! Congratulations!: o) Helvi
