You've written and excellent mono rhyme for this contest, sometimes there are only a few to choose from, but you've chosen a good one with ELL as your chosen one, good job, an excellent job, blessings Roy

This is just beautiful. I love what you did here in your monorhyme poem! What an interesting technique, I think I've seen it before but I have yet to try one!
I love the scenes you have created here, the view of the charming well, the feeling of making that wish you just hope will come true, the wish of a sailor echoing. This is beautiful, well done.
Good luck with the contest.
Best Wishes
Nicki

This is an excellent mknorhyme that uses the sound ell. You creatively followed the wishing well theme. I happen to love wishing wells. We has one in our old yard and your poem reminds me to buy one for our new yard. ;)
There is something magical about wishing wells and you successfully captured that, too. The sailor could have beeb my dad who was a sailor who also had a wishing well in his garden. Well done!
Peace & blessings,
Alex

Your poem has an almost mystical feel to it! I love how the rhyme flows so naturally. The line about the Captain ringing his bell really stands out - it's such a great way to end the poem. Great job!
