The Sailor's Bell

Charming old wishing well

makes you stop to dwell

on the past or the future, a coin that fell,

not the one just thrown, but many more, it does sell,

a wish that may come true, never to tell.

Walking away, a journey upon the sea, he did fortell,

where birds fly in wind's grace, as to say farewell,

the sailor, a wish upon heart, Oh God is thee! as waves swell,

echoing through stormy winds, the Captain rings his bell.
