This is an unusual story which sounds like a dream. I like ending A better because anything about disappearing children creeps me out. I like your idea about an alphabet book.

I think it's a lovely idea, and children will easily remember the alphabet with stories like this one. I prefer the first ending best. I like happy endings. The second ending is a bit scary, and can you imagine how grandmother would feel if Amber didn't come home!!!!! Nooooooooooo!!!
I loved this story, Carol, and kids will too! Love and hug, my clever friend. Sandra xxx

#1 is the only choice. You sure are a writing fool lately, while I am partly a recluse. When, the sun stays out my juices will perk up, and I'll be going like gangbusters until after Turkey day. Karen

That's quite a project, one alphabet story a day.. I enjoyed Amber's story and as an adult, I liked the mystery ending, and I wish you well with your project, Carol.
cheers

What a well written poem Amber and the little with blue eyes and a set off gears that is decidedly different from we of hearts, minds and souls, but of course it didn't have a heart or soul, but he did, beautifully written Carol, blessings Roy

I did enjoy reading this. It was full of both colorful characters and action. I felt as if I were on an adventure with both Amber and the boy I could see young children and enjoying this story great job Loren.

I am very much enjoying your stories that you are writing with two endings and this particular one I'd like the ending one better however ending two is very appealing as well. May you have a wonderful day and may the sense of cinnamon flow through your census. Patricia.

I think I like Ending 1 better although Ending 2 is more artistic, since this is for kids, I think they would appreciate knowing that they accomplished something and helped this apple orchard world in the sky. Are you going to have names that are alphabetical?

That's a cute idea, to write stories through the alphabet. Kids would enjoy them, and I'm guessing publishers would like the idea for a kids' book. Have fun with the stories, and happy writing. Blessings. Carol

What a great imagination you have, Carol. I enjoyed this story and think that ending two would be a little scary for the kids. As an adult child, I would choose ending two.
But I think ending one would be best for the young ones.
God bless,
Steve
